This sample previews the contribution math. The full planner includes the monthly budget, one-off expense handling, and multiple options.
Four contributions of $200 and a final $100.
The planner shows estimates based on the numbers a customer supplies. It does not connect to bank accounts, transfer money, or make decisions for them. The customer chooses the amount that fits their priorities.
One-off expenses affect the current month. If a contribution fits only in later months, the full planner explains that saving can start next month after handling this month's costs.

Subtract what you have already saved from your goal price, divide the remaining amount by your monthly contribution, and round up. For a $900 goal with nothing saved, $100 a month takes 9 contributions; $150 a month takes 6. This assumes one contribution each month and no interest or price changes.
You only need to contribute the amount still remaining. A $900 goal at $200 a month takes four $200 contributions and a final $100 contribution. That smaller final payment leaves more money in your budget.
The full planner separates room this month from room in later months. If your chosen contribution does not fit this month, it explains that you can start next month. Contribution counts and the date you start both matter when planning your goal.
